Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy explains how ASHVPN may and may not be used.

ASHVPN is intended for lawful, secure, everyday VPN use.

ASHVPN is not marketed as an anonymous VPN, a piracy service, a spam tool, a scraping tool, a fraud tool, or an abuse-friendly proxy service.

Allowed use

You may use ASHVPN for lawful purposes, including:

  • securing your internet connection on public or shared networks;
  • protecting everyday browsing from local network exposure;
  • accessing your own lawful accounts and services securely;
  • improving privacy and security during normal internet use;
  • lawful personal or business use that does not breach this policy.

Prohibited use

You must not use ASHVPN for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or high-risk activity.

Prohibited use includes, but is not limited to, the categories below.

Security abuse

You must not use ASHVPN for:

  • hacking or attempted unauthorised access;
  • port scanning or vulnerability scanning of third-party systems without permission;
  • credential stuffing, brute forcing, password spraying, or account takeover attempts;
  • malware, botnets, command-and-control traffic, or exploit delivery;
  • denial-of-service activity or traffic flooding;
  • unauthorised interception, monitoring, or exploitation of systems or networks.

Fraud, deception, and payment abuse

You must not use ASHVPN for:

  • phishing;
  • scams;
  • impersonation;
  • payment fraud;
  • fake account creation at scale;
  • marketplace fraud;
  • ad fraud;
  • affiliate abuse;
  • evading bans, sanctions, payment controls, or platform enforcement in a way that causes harm or breaches law or platform rules.

Spam, scraping abuse, and platform abuse

You must not use ASHVPN for:

  • spam email;
  • mass unsolicited messaging;
  • automated signup abuse;
  • scraping abuse;
  • bot activity that harms third-party platforms;
  • social media abuse;
  • evading reasonable anti-abuse controls.

Harmful or illegal content and conduct

You must not use ASHVPN for:

  • child sexual abuse material or exploitation;
  • terrorism-related content, financing, recruitment, or activity;
  • threats, harassment, stalking, doxxing, or targeted abuse;
  • revenge abuse or non-consensual intimate content;
  • hate or violence-related offences;
  • unlawful pornography, exploitation, or trafficking-related activity;
  • any other illegal content or conduct.

Copyright and rights abuse

You must not use ASHVPN for:

  • piracy;
  • unlawful distribution of copyrighted content;
  • rights-infringing activity;
  • services or activity designed mainly to avoid lawful rights enforcement.

ASHVPN service abuse

You must not:

  • resell ASHVPN access without written permission;
  • publish, sell, lease, or share ASHVPN configuration files;
  • bypass or attempt to bypass device limits;
  • interfere with ASHVPN infrastructure;
  • attempt to access ASHVPN systems, databases, dashboards, nodes, workers, or control-plane components without permission;
  • reverse engineer, attack, overload, or disrupt ASHVPN systems;
  • use ASHVPN in a way that damages ASHVPN, its customers, providers, payment processors, or third parties.

Enforcement

ASHVPN may investigate suspected misuse.

Where ASHVPN reasonably believes this policy has been breached, ASHVPN may take action including:

  • warning the customer;
  • limiting or suspending access;
  • revoking device slots or configurations;
  • terminating the account or subscription;
  • refusing refund requests linked to abuse or policy breach;
  • preserving relevant records where legally appropriate;
  • reporting serious abuse to providers, platforms, payment processors, regulators, or law-enforcement bodies where appropriate.

ASHVPN may also act where required by law, court order, regulator, provider, payment processor, or infrastructure partner.

Reporting abuse

Abuse reports should be sent to:

Reports should include:

  • the ASHVPN hostname, IP address, or other network identifier involved;
  • the date and time of the activity, including timezone;
  • logs, screenshots, URLs, message headers, or other evidence;
  • a short description of the issue;
  • reporter contact details for follow-up.

Please do not send passwords, private keys, one-time codes, payment card details, or unrelated sensitive personal data.

Relationship with other policies

This policy should be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data & Logging Statement, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Fair Use Policy, and Abuse Reports and Contact page.

If there is a conflict between this page and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service should control unless a later reviewed policy states otherwise.
